Welcome to Silverbell's Gate, population ten thousand. You have arrived in the city to stake your claim at whatever profession you pursue. Silverbell is set in the late Victorian Age style. Mobiles are steam powered. Fashion is late Victorian/steampunked. The pollutants from the factories caused the sky to be a brass colour, since most factories rely on coal for power. Many wear respirators to prevent pollutants entering their lungs. It is quite a gloomy city with a high poverty level and decaying buildings. This once happy city turned bottoms up when the coal mine shut down. Airships come and go from Silverbell to their sister city, Bloomfield. Bloomfield's population burst after the coal mine shut down. They had originally less than a thousand that turned into fifteen thousand in a matter of months. Temporary housing was created until apartment complexes could be built. Trains are common all over. The station recently closed all rail lines going to and coming from the North due to political instability. Their leader was assassinated after enacting an amendment to the rights of the people, giving them only half of their rights as previous. The city was left in chaos.
