"A206P9758," a voice rings out over the intercom echoing through the bland corridors of The Institution, "A206P9758 to the conference hall. A206P9758." I stand stiffly in my cold 10x10 cell. The glass door slides open and before I can react two guards step in. One grabs me under my bicep and haus me out of the cell. The guard and his partner drag me to the end of the hallway. At the end they throw me to the ground and I crumple to the floor. I slowly start to rise and one of the guards pulls his foot back to kick me,
"Alright!" I cry out. I stand up faster and begin to walk. One of them pushes me from behind and I stumble a bit. I turn and glare back at them. Naturally I could attack and kill them in the blink of an eye. However, they had guns I didn't stand a chance against a flying bullet. I face forward again, walking down the white corrior towards a set of double doors. When we reached the doors, I froze letting the guards walk in front of me and open them. I walk in to the extremely bright room squinting at the blinding light. WHen the glares from the lights was gone, I had walked into the center of a huge white room. A committee of ominous faces sat watching on a balcony above. I looked up at them glaring. These assholes were "rulers." They took me grom my home, beat me, threw me into this place, studied and trained me as a human test subject. The harder we worked the longer we survived, and the longer we survived the smaller the chance was of us being able to leave. But that's the only fun part of The Institution trying to get out.
"A206P9758," a man on the committee said through a microphone. "You are being charged with an attempt at escape." I looked up blank faced, not reacting. Suddenly however my body was frozen. I squirmed or rather tried, but it was futile. "Punishment, of course," the man continued, "is death. However, you are one of our best subjects so other forms of punishment have been arranged." he snapped his fingers and thin wires fell from the ceiling above and landed on my skin. I glared at them still refusing to take my eyes off of them. Suddenly the thin wires clamped to my skin and I was unfrozen. Moving, I tried to shake the wires off, but they wouldn't budge. I tried to pull one off but it remained in place. I looked up at them again in frustration. The man then pointed to someone as if cuing them to start something and suddenly a sharp pain ran throughout my body. I fell to the flor and cried out. The electric currents pulsed through my body and I screamed. The committee above merely watched, not moving. Their faces still cold and solid as stone. The currents ran through my body and I squirmed crying out again. The pain was beyond intense and I could feel myself starting to black out. Suddenly all the pain stopped and my skin tingled. Two guards came over then and pulled me to my feet. My head hung limply as I had no strength to hold it up. The man on the committee looked down at me again.
"Let this be a warning," he said, "Don't let it happen again." he nodded and the guards hauled me back to my cell. When we arrived, they threw me on the ground and all I could do was look up helplessly. Suddenly the world around me became fuzzy and I blacked out. All I can remember was the smell of something burning.
When I awoke the cell was cold and my body was extremely sore. I stood quickly and cried out as a tight pain stiffened my muscles. I began rubbing my muscles slowly to kneed out the pain. When they were finally warmish I walked around a little bit, thinking. The clock on the wall outside my cell read 3:41 a.m. About two hours until wakeup, breakfast, then training. I paced back and forthe thinking about my charge. An attempt at escape. I hadn't even put the plan into action. How did they know? It wasn't even written down anywhere. The only written proof had been torn up and flushed away. Unable to figure it, I gave up around 4 and fell back down on to the bed. I'll figure it out at some point...
