Captured fall
Crisp, fallen autumn leaves.
Red, Orange, Yellow, Brown.
Dead. Wind swept. Bare trees.
Halloween once arrived with glory.
Now has left its place.
Jack-o-lanterns once lit at the darkest of nights.
Glowing with immense phoenix flames.
Candle slowly melting as the chilly, winds cool down its flame.
Blown out.
Claimed by winter, slowly the jack-o-lanterns have lost its youth.
Slowly rotting.
Cool, icy winds blows into the jack-o-lanterns empty, dark eyes as though laughing for claiming their cruel victory.
Frost bitten.
Death.
Loss.
