Wow, Vincent, you did wtf now?
So, I moved. Unless you're one of those weird people who can't stand swearing, alcohol, sex, caffiene, staying up past 8pm, and women who actually have more than two working braincells...

STAY AWAY FROM UTAH!

*coughs* Yeah, you can't swear around women, and some of the men here have no balls so you can't swear around them either. The women are stupid pansy a** bitches with nothing better to talk about than their husband, cooking, and popping out thirty kids, their religion (*coughcultcough*) and whatever crap they feel like blabbing about. The men don't swear around women, they're trying to impress them, apparently. Although why they'd want to impress complete idiots- oh wait, nevermind. D: I keep forgetting that I'm the kinda guy who likes people who actually use the two working braincells they have. My bad.

So Vinneh, tell us about your trip! ^_^

....Some drug dealing child pimp ****** tried to get in my car during the week of my move, so I couldn't keep anything in my car. I hope he ODs and dies, or something cool like that that involves death. D:< But the ******** fails at life because I LOCK MY DOORS BITCHES! biggrin

So, I packed everything up except my computer, took care of odds and ends, then on Thursday mom calls me and tells me that she's coming over to help me pick up my stuff and get it out of the apartment and that I'm staying the night with her. So we did just that. And once my car was Tetris-packed (yes, I'm THAT good) Keith and I looked at my suspension and he told me to be careful. o.O He hugged me FIVE TIMES before I left, it was not a Keith thing to do. I picked my brother up Friday at the Juvenile Detention Center, mom skipped work, and I took Ryan (my brother, obviously) to breakfast.

Then I went back, took a nap, got up a couple hours later, went to the bank to close my account, which I couldn't, so I left 50 in my account, took the 350 I had access to and went to go say my goodbye's at work and pick up my check stub, but they were busy so I couldn't. Went home, got another 90 bucks from mom for the trip. Told me it should be enough to check into a cheap hotel on the way.

I had no plans on stopping. 21 hours and 7 minute drive is NOT worth a $90 hotel room. Really it isn't.

So, Friday afternoon I leave, go to the gas station up the road from mom, filled up the tank, filled up my tires (one was WAY low, seriously would've suck if I hadn't checked them.) Then, I was off to Hwy 11 and the start of my adventure! ^_^

Highway 11:
That was a trip, had two bridges out, had to take detours, luckily I ended up following a vehicle around the detours each time. I had plenty of music to accompany me, too. Yay for a huge music collection! So I made it through that mess.

Iowa:
I stopped in Iowa for an hour for a break and some food! Oh..and some gas, car was hungry, too. Then I drove the rest of the way through. Nothing exciting happened there, except for the lower gas prices. biggrin It was like $2.65! Was nice!

Nebraska:
Ah, I loved Nebraska, was talking to Jack because he called and such, it was dark by now, and I was about 30 mins from Lexington (the halfway point in my trip) when it started to sprinkle. Mind you it'd been lightning out for awhile. I told Jack I needed to go, that it was starting to rain, and no sooner did I put my cell down than I literally ran into a wall of water. It was like driving through a carwash. It was raining so hard that the ground couldn't even absorb it all, so I ended up driving through about an inch or so of water. I was tempted to stop, I really was, but I wanted to get to Jack so badly, so I kept driving. Ended up following a trucker. Now for all you non-statespeople, or for those who don't know, Nebraska is part of Tornado Alley. You do the math, kids.
After that deluge had passed I stopped at a gas station for another fill up, something to drink, and a little conversation with the poor bored cashier lady. Of course we talked about the weather, we both figured I was half through it already. So I took my paid for drinks and filled-up car and got back to driving. A little while after that I realized there was an a** to this storm, and it decided to s**t on me. Luckily I was able to veer off the road under a bipass and sit out the hail storm that lasted a good 10-20 minutes. I have enough chips in my window, I don't need anymore, thanks. After it stopped hailing I got back on the road and kept driving, watching the lightning and just driving, listening to my music.
At some point during the night, I looked at my gas gauge, decided I could make it to the next gas station, and kept driving. Once my gauge was to 1/16th (that's the lowest bar before E kids) I started getting nervous, there weren't any gas stations around that were open. I kept looking and looking, my needle moving closer to Empty, and my stomach turning in ways I didn't think possible. I was miles from home, miles from Jack, and thousands of miles from the nearest relative or friend with no internet access, and only my cell to save my a**. I finally found a town, pulled off because it said there were gas stations. I kept looking, passed three of them, came to a fourth and nearly kissed the ground when I got out. Now, laugh all you want bitches, but I've never been so far away from home by myself. EVER. I walked in and talked to the attendent and told him that I was VERY happy they were open, cause I'd passed up three gas stations in desperate need of gas on the way there. So I filled up my tank again, got something to drink to try and settle my stomach and continued on my way. The rest of my night was uneventful, thankfully.

Wyoming:
I made it to Wyoming, but I was starting to get tired as it neared dawn. Now, usually I can make it a full 24 without needing sleep, but the trip was so ******** boring and I was getting to music in my stack that just WASN'T something someone who wants to stay awake should be listening to. I'm sorry, Stevie Ray, babe, but your awesome music and your wonderful voice does put me to sleep. Pantera and Motley Crue helped, though. But eventually I did stop off the side of the road. There was a semi-circle where I stopped that was for truckers so they could just park and catch a few Z's. I got to sleep, didn't get much because my mom called to see if I was there yet. Told her no, but I was okay and was trying to get some sleep. Told her I was at a safe spot off the road and my doors were locked. She let me go and I slept a good 2 or three hours, then I woke up, lay there a few minutes and decided that I needed to get up and drive again. I was awake enough to keep going. I was glad I hit the Rocky's during the day. It was awesome driving through them Yes, driving 80 mph through mountains gets me going. (Mind you I drove 80 most of the way there, anyway. >.> wink Then I saw the sign that welcomed me to Mormonland (Utah.) It's very pretty, I must say. The scenery is camera worthy and part of me wishes that I would've stopped and taken pictures (I brought a one-use with me) but alas, I didn't. I drove up past the Great Salt Lake, and through the canyons into Cache Valley.
Yes, yes I did go through the canyons at 80 whenever I could. It was hard going once we started going up-hill, though. Remember, I had lowered suspension and a car load of my s**t weighing my a** down. So going uphill I could barely reach 60.
When I drove past Ogden, I flipped the general vacinity of the city off. I know someone who lives there...it's just my way of giving him a smartass 'hello', not that he'd know I did it. XD So then I made it to Logan, kept driving up to the Temple (which, no lie, is the center of town. It's on Main and Center Streets.) Past that to the North and West section of town where I would find Jack. Made it all by myself to the apartment, parked and called Jack.

"Hey, I think you should like...come outside."
"Huh?" *comes outside "You b*****d!"
*smirk* Yeah yeah.

I'd made it. Finally. And now I've been here just over 2 weeks.

Anyone who's read this far gets a cookie! biggrin
