Read part one.
Bonds of Soul: The bond uniting, or rather, signifying the unity and togetherness in destiny, fate, and eventual death, of the body and soul of the two individuals. To receive the bond of soul, you would have already known you were the only person that qualified for it. The Bonds of Souls cannot be given to more than one person. The signifigance of it is minimal between the two, and only a mark to those around them. It does not hold any meaning, but is rather like a final blow driving in a nail. It is only meant as a symbol to all others, though most will never even understand it. The Bonds of Soul are usually two interlocking pieces, forming the marks of: the tapestry of Time, the will of Death, the tears of Destiny, and the soul of Fate. They are to plit in a way which gve each person half of each symbol, showing without the other they cannot be moved even by the horsemen of life, and that they are one despite their seperation. The most powerful of all the bonds, the Bonds of soul are almost never created or worn, for fear of the fury wrought upon those who abuse this bond. The bond was first created by the solider and gaurdian of the Goddess Myrrious. He forged it from jade by hand as a sybol of his devotion to her. He had foolowed her, destroying the lives of thousands upon thousands of people, as a way of destroying the other gods. Without their beleivers, their powers were signifigantly cut, and she would have him destroy them. The only god whom they could not rid themselves of was her father, for he held the strength of the world at his call. Though they had worshipped others, everyone worshipped him. When the gods had fought amongst themselves, he had proven himself to be the strongest, and out of fear the people sought to keep him apeased. They were successful in sealng him away where he could not meddle in anything, but they kept the people under the idea that he had never left. Skipping the explaination for that, while locked away with no one to oppose her, she sent him away to watch humans for a while. This was when he created the Bond, to prove he love he held for her, whether or not she cared for it. His devotion followed him to the grave, lying beside her, after another battle following the escape of her father.
Black Rose Band: Otherwise known as the Bonds of Sorrow, it is refered to as the band only because it was adopted to have been a bond after it had become known as such. The Black Rose Band symbolised the feelings of moarning that people had that matched those of another. Originally they were created fr the families of father's whom had died, but when this lost practicality during wartime, it was not picked up again. It was then the and was used to show two people with one of two different similarities. Either they both had sorrows which were the same or directly connected, or they had taken on te sorrow of each other, in order to have none. It is because of the second that this became considered a bond, however those connected in the first way and not unconnected. Thusly the bond takes two forms. The half-bond as it were is made from blackened iron, but made to mimic silver in it's quality, with the rose etched into it. The true Bonds of Sorrow it silver inlaid with onyx, in a way which makes the jewel almost part of the metal. The jewel of course creates the rose on the band. Typically the half-bond is worn on the upper arm, similar to the Bonds of Glee, while the true bond is worn on the forearm to allow it to always be seen.
There. Two more. If anyone cares or the rest of that story I'll think about getting it out of my head.
