The Rise of Napoleon
Sorry I have neglected to post this one.
I can't tell if anyone has read the one before because no comments were left.
[hint hint. >>;]
Anywho, the last part of the story.
Enjoy~ <3

After the fall of the boar and rattlesnake, problems still persisted for the forest. Now, not only were they starving and lacking a leader, they were still fighting off the forces of the farm of Tall Grasses. But through their struggles against the enemy, one animal lead them to many victories. This animal was a mole named Napoleon Bonaparte...
He quickly gained more favour as he won many battles. Not before long, the Farm Landers had been driven completely back. The forest of Golden Leaf loved this general. In fact, through their new democracy, they voted for him to rule over them...
Napoleon took that responsibility gladly, crowning himself Emperor of Golden Leaf. He was this first ruler of Golden Leaf not to be blessed by the High Priest.
With Napoleon as their ruler, their hunger problems soon ceased. Napoleon had many great ideals for the forest, and helped it in many ways. Soon they were able to have freedom of their words and religion. Though with every good thing, comes a bad.
The mole, though he proved a good leader in many ways, had a fatal flaw. He had an uncontrollable lust for power. And this lust would lead to his downfall. Soon the mole was no longer just a leader, but a dictator. His word was law. And his lust grew still...
It was not long before the forest of Golden Leaf could not sate his hunger for power. Soon, this natural general went back to the battlefield. He was a magnificent general and won every fight. Only after a short while, the mole had taken over the glade of Fresh Springs, the valley of Dancing Flowers, and the meadow of Fair Skies. His empire grew higher and higher. But...What goes up, must come down...And down it did come.
Napoleon, still trying to take over more lands, foolishly invaded one he had ne'er been before. One, whose conditions he was not used to. He had tried to take over the plains of Harsh Weathers. And indeed, the weathers were harsh. So harsh, almost all his men lost the lives in the plain. Some deserted him, but many were eaten alive by the cold. He, himself, eventually abandoned the land.
The animals of Golden Leaf had grown weary of his lust of power, and exiled him to a sandbar on a nearby lake upon his return from the plains. But a mere sandbar could not hold the mighty mole.
With troops the animals of Golden Leaf had foolishly given him, Napoleon tunneled his was off the sandbar.
He and his troops marched back to the forest, and along the way the king who had taken the mole's place sent many troops after him. But the mighty Napoleon had only to say, "Would you harm your Emperor?", and the king's troops soon became his own. Soon the mole was back to his former glory, and the forest happy to have him, for the king in his absence had banished the rights.
But...The foolish mole had not changed. Soon he once again lusted for lands not his own. And that lust was his final downfall.
He did not win his next battle, and was once again exiled to another farther sandbar.
The forest of Golden Leaf had gone through many trials, and still would go through many more. Their dreams of a happy, equal forest diminished each day.
Would the animals of Golden Leaf ever see their dreams come true?
