Music, Music is the topic for today!
First, I'll list off some bands that I love.
Blindside, Death Cab For Cutie, Cursive, The Faint, Queen, Ani Difranco, Modest Mouse, Nine Inch Nails
Blindside
Okies. First, the pictures.
The top picture is a picture from about two years ago? Right about the time their album About A Burning Fire came out. [I went to that concert]
The second picture is the most recent, I think. It's pretty recent, it's actually from last year. Right about the time their album The Great Deppression came out [I went to that concert, too!].
Here's a list of the band members names.
Christian [Lead singer], Simon [Lead Guitar], Tomas [Bass], and Marcus [Drums].
Look at the top picture. From right to left: Christian, Marcus, Tomus, and Simon.
They are a GREAT band, and my Iposh classifies them as such: The Great Deppression [Alternative/ Punk], Silence [Punk/ Metal], About A Burning Fire [Punk/Metal]. But, it might be lying.
Blindside is very, very lyrical. You have to listen, and think at the same time, or their song will mean nada to you.
Here's a set of their lyrics. It's a very popular one of their songs, not the most popular, but out of the newest set it is. Fell in love with the game is a very sad video, and the lyrics are very, very clear.

If you didn't get what I meant by Lyrical earlier, I'm sure you do now, right? Blindside sings a lot about death, mistakes, hate, and dispair, but don't think for even a moment that they are an 'emo' band.
The Great Deppression was an idea of Christian's after he returned from a trip to Africa, and seeing the well deppression that had spread through that entire area he decided that another album should be made. The entire album is pretty much about Hate, mistakes, death, and dispair. But, all of their songs are beautiful.
Blindside is by far my very favorite band. And, I mean, look at the picture, can you blame me?
I've met them too. They were playing at the bar that my sister works at, and her friend's boyfriend used to work out their technical difficulties, so I got to meet them! ^.^ it was the gosh darned happiest day of my life, well, almost. But I'll go into all of that other random off topic s**t some other time.
And, I mean, look at him! Isn't he most gosh-darned cutest guy you've ever seen?! [Ok, guys, ignore this part. I'm not usually crazy in that scary, preppy way.] Lol. I found this picture on quizzilla. I wanted to test on how much I knew about Blindside, it was kinda scary, I'm not obsessive or anything, but I got all of the questions right!
Hm...I just noticed something. For some reason I always thought Christian had plugs, you know, in his ears. But, I guess I was wrong. Oops, my bad.
Oh yeah. Blindside's an awesome band, and I seriously suggest that you dig a bit deeper into youtube, because they really are worth it.

The one thing I'm pissed off about Blindside:
Christian dyed his hair blonde. And I don't care if he's from sweden, and whatnot, but NO FAVORITE BAND MEMBER IDOL OF MINE CAN HAVE BLONDE HAIR!!! Yes I know, people. "Just wait till they put out their next cd, he'll dye his hair back." I know, I know, but you never know how long that will be!

That reminds me.
For a little while, each of my different posts will be about a different band on the list, at the top of this post. Again, Blindside is my favorite, so none of the other ones will have this many pictures, and will be a WHOLE lot shorter.
