Feeling :: smile
I did all right yesterday, squeaking in the other 500 to top off the day 1,000 gold. sweatdrop Phew! That was tricky. I didn't think I'd actually reach it, but once I ignored the top page gold count, I was all right. Somehow it seems to move faster when not watched.
Sadly though, the Guild does not seem to move fast when not watched. It is so quiet a pin dropping to the floor would sound like a bowling ball was dropped! eek Usually one or two post, if only to say hello, but lately? Very quiet.
I guess it's about time I did some spring cleaning. 3nodding Weed out those who haven't posted even once, or if they did, but soon left. I'm so very glad I don't own a guild. For one, I don't know why I would have one in the first place. There needs to be a better reason then "just because I could" to buy a guild for 20K. (Goodness! That's almost half the price of a January Letter!)
And apparently, sustaining it requires a crew member to keep it going. It shouldn't, but as of lately, it appears to be just so. Then again, I have posted once or twice and not too much happened. Hmm.
It really feels as though everyone's left. It was bad enough that I felt awful about Hallowe'en and completely devoid of any Holiday cheer for the Christmas holidays (it truly was a relief to that festive season over!), but now it looks like the Guild has been snubbed. Or rather, maybe I am the one being snubbed.
I'm not so sure I want to find out what'll happen if I only lurk and don't post anything at the Guild (oh, wait, I'm kind of doing that already, ain't I?). I think it'll just sit there, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for it won't hurt anyone if it does. However, when one can post in the regular forums and the Guild forum without waiting for a minute, then not being active in the Guild is a waste of resources, yes?
Well, time to get ready for the day.
