Your arms move jaggedly
your legs caught in endless dance
eyes of glassy blue, locked in eternal gaze
and face of pastel white, ruby cheeks of compliment
your lips forever locked in adolescent smile
jaw moving up and down, click and clack
though no words can ever come out

You struggle and fight
fine wires your only guide
rising from the heavens above to embrace your every joint
your legs grow weary and your arms rigid
but you continue your grotesque dance
a slave to a will other than yours

So dance, dance for all you're worth
feel the strain and tug
the clacking of your jaw is your only beat
roll your head to the sky, someday perhaps you shall see
with your doll like blue eyes
the hand of the absolute
the puppeteer of your soul.
