I don't remember what year I was born in but I do remember being alive in a time of many untreated diseases and filth. I also remember the horrid witch trials, so many people died in that time for no reason, but for the fact that the few well-to-do had too much power in their hands and do not know how to use it. That is how the witch trials began, paranoia and fear drove the rich to madness and the insane idea that they could eradicate the poor by calling them witches. Foolish people if they only knew the real truth!
That truth being Vampires! There were thousands that covered the earth and in many instances when the witch trials got to close to home they had to resort to drastic measures. Most of those measures included killing and maiming but also lying and cheating, but my favorite one was the turning of the poor into a vampire. Oh, the sight of the newly turned looking for a good meal to strengthen them, generally it lead them to the rich that had accused them of being witches in the first place. Those poor people sure exacted their revenge.
The witch trials finally died down only because there wasn't anybody left to accuse of being a witch, unless the rich accused one of their own. So with the witch hunts out of the way, the vampires had a lot to worry about. Because as we know about human nature, they aren't happy unless they are accusing someone of doing something evil. Well since I can remember this time of my life, I was a vampire by then, i guess that I was born warlier than this. I will try to remember more in due time.
