The polls are counted and the people have spoken. History has been made and now the tasks begin. President-Elect Obama now faces the challenge not only here in America, but around the world. The stakes for these next for years are the world, the future of America, and we, the people he will soon vow to protect.
I am glad for him that he has won, I am glad for him that he has proven himself against the people's riggorice rumors and the blabbing of those against him.
However, I am sad for him. For now he must face the scrutiny and hell that comes with being at the top. For, as it has been said, "It's lonely at the top." Though he has said he isn't afriad of assassination attempts on his own life. I must think that he is afriad for his family. It is also sad that now he will have another problem which is we the people. For our American econemy is so bad that no matter what he does, or how good of a job he commits to this country, he will most likely be noted as a bad president and for that, I am sorry and saddend for him. I can only pray that he and his family are well and remain so.
That's all

It's been over a year since my last journal entry. A lot has happened since than and now I'm feeling the effects of what has happened. For those who this will eventually be released to, and who do not desire to read beyond this, I can only say that the world has gone to hell, and I'm starting to see the connections. Maybe it's just me losing my mind, but recently, I've been noticing the patterns. The attacks against Osama bin Laden, after we trained him in the 1970's and his hate against the U.S., which formed from our aiding of Israel, which led to 9/11. The sub-secret hand-in-hand workings of the Late President of the U.S. Ronald Reagan and his administration with Late Dictator Sadam, and the dealings that gave the later helicopters, battle computers, even exports for SCUD missiles. The connections continue to include Rewanda's Genocide to the events in Darfar. I can only tell that now, at my age, I see how sick our would has become. We, human beings, who put ourselves on such high pedistals are no more humane than the animals we eat for food. Weather you're from the American Empire, The British phacade of a Democracy, or the immoral realms of Asia, it can only be found that we as humans are as horrible as the creatures we kill.
Polution, war, rape, murder, threats...the basic whole of human history can be summed up in these five words.
Why? Why are we such foul things that we would kill our neighbors? Why are we such foul things that we would ravage and destroy the earth from which we came from?
Is it religion? Is it greed? Is it simply what we are?
I don't know, I never will know.
