Rescue Mission....
He was still staring at Paterson wish he had picked up the guns from the other men he just hit with the metal bar, its too late to think what he could of done earlier. If he was to think what he done he shouldn't of joined SIS in the first place, but right now any wrong movement could kill him instantly Paterson would put a bullet straight through him before he could do anything. Ace repeated the question again louder this time "Where is she? What do you want with her?"
Paterson laughed as there was something funny about the question he asked "Don’t worry boy she is just fine, Mascade or I have nothing to do with her she was just a way for me to escape from the conference. And its shows that I have took the right girl, it bought you here so I can finish some unfinished business with you I should of have finished you of when I had the chance in the conference" he replied.
"Enough with your little pay Paterson, tell me where she is?" Ace was in pain from staining himself he hasn't fully recovered yet but the anger and worry of her over took the pain his body was going through.
"She is safe and I promise to let her go if you manage to beat me in a fight, one on one no SIS or Mascade the fight between you and me" Paterson asked Ace with a ugly smirk on his face.
Ace knew he could not trust any word of that man but he had no choice to accept the challenge. Paterson took his silent as an acceptance for the challenge and lead the way to the empty space and as soon as they both entered into the room Ace heard a foot steps they were surrounded by Mascade men all of them were holding big guns all of them were pointed at Ace, but Paterson raised his hand and told them not to do anything. As he told Ace earlier it was between him and Ace yet the men were still holding they gun pointed at Ace he would be shot straight there if he make any movement. He wanted to end this fast as he can he just want to find Angel and know she is okay. He made his first move clenching his fist and strike Paterson which was blocked and the counter strike hit him hard cross his stomach, Ace lost his balance he hardly had any strength to fight in the first place he was on his knees breathing heavily he was hit on the wound. He looked up at Paterson who was standing there with a smirk cross his face Ace pulled himself up once again and strike this time he was prepaid for any counterattack he strike another punch which was blocked by Paterson once again but he didn't see what was coming next. Ace swung himself and house kicked Paterson cross the face. Paterson hit the wall and pushed himself back again into fighting position Ace was still finding it hard to breath holding his stomach he found it hard to move. Paterson made his move kicked him in the hand and than the stomach where already had been wounded it was cheap of Paterson to hit someone again and again in the same place where their already been wounded Ace was coughing up blood his vision start to get blurry and the next thing he knew he was up in the air thrown away by the blow Paterson hit him upward from his chin. Ace was laying on the floor coughing blood than his head was spinning he couldn't hardly see anyone who was standing there and after few minutes he had passed out and when he finally woke up after 3 or 4hours as it seemed to him the sun was shinning heavily in the middle of the sky it must be around noon than he could not see much of the sky inside the room he found him self the was a little hold on top of the wall on one side of the room with metal bars it was just there to provide sun lights there is no escape through that way, he pulled his self up from where he was laying and grabbed his stomach as a pain ran through him he could hardly stand up but he managed to get up and pulled himself straight. Than he saw there was a single metal door with a square sliding hole on the top, which could be opened from either side. He slowly made his way toward it and slide to the side and looked out, there was a guard dressed same as the men that was in the other room where Ace was fighting Paterson he was also carrying a gun and the guard was alone guarding the long empty corridor and Ace kept banging on the door and the guard turned and shouted back at Ace "Shut the bloody hell up or I will shoot you right here and I don’t care what Mr.Paterson got to say" the guard turned and start to walk down the corridor again. Ace was left there standing there nothing to do he stood there shouting for awhile but the guard ignored him after awhile he went back to the bed and sat there thinking for 5 minutes than he got up walking toward the door but all of the sudden he feel back to the floor screaming and laid on the floor.
The guard was walking back toward Ace's end of the corridor when he heard the scream and he hurried to the door and slide open the little hole on the door and looked at Ace laying there without any movement the guard didn't know what to do. He shouted "Hey get up, what are you doing?" he was scared and didn't know what to do he looked side to side than decide to open the door and enter the room and walked toward Ace as he kneeled down and put his gun down to check on Ace, Ace open his eyes and took the guard by surprise he knocked the guard ice cold. Now the guard was laying on the floor knocked out the door was still opened. Ace picked up the gun this time he knew he would need to get pass this building where it was he had no clue. He slowly walked toward the door and checked if there was anymore guards but there was no one near the he got out of the room and locked the door and taken the key with him he went around the rooms quietly searching each one and each corridor and finally he came up to a room and he opened it slowly checking if anyone was there his mind was telling him there is no point no one going to be there but something was telling him he found what he was looking for. There was someone on the corner of the room he slowly walked looking around the gun was on his hand and he went close to the person and kneeled down to look it was a girl and she was tied up her face was hidden in middle of her knees and he gently lifted her chin up and it was her, it was Angel she was tied up and her mouth was covered by tape and she was unconscious. Ace moved her hair out of his face and run his finger down her cheeks and she slowly opened her eyes and looked at him, he could tell by the look in her bright blue eyes she was scared and worried. He untied her hands and took the tape of her mouth and tears dropped on his hand he looked at it and up at her and tears was running down her and soon as she was free she wrap arm around him and hugged him tightly, he smiled and pull himself and her up and said "We will be okay" as both of them made they way out of the room looking for an exit. She was holding his hand tight as they made they way out and when they enter the next corridor they heard a sound, it sounded like someone was heading they way it was another guard who was guarding the place but he didn't see them two as they took for cover in the dark side of the corridor. The guard turned his back against him and Ace took the chance and smacked him cross back of his head with the gun and the guard feel to the floor and they both started to make they way down the stairs when there were more guards were coming up the stairs they were dressed in green outfit with golden line running around the green outfit and all of them were carrying a different gun from what Ace had in his hand. They are different from the guards Ace came cross so far they were special unit appointed by Paterson, Ace saw them before back in the conference they were guarding Paterson while he attended the conference and Ace knew they gun had to be loaded before they take the first shot because the gun always be in a locked position cause of it sensitiveness. Now both of them were surrounded by 4 men carrying a gun and Ace looked at Angel who was more worried than before her hand holding on to Ace's hand tightly turned to face the guard who was standing in front of them gun pointing at both of them and Ace knew he got few seconds advantage to make his move, he slowly took a step back while the guard looked at what he was planning and as he pulled out the gun from his back they were alert and start loading they gun, Ace knew only now he got to make his move count and he pulled the trigger of his gun waving the gun crazily as the bullets went flying past each men taking out they gun and them. The gun Ace was holding wasn't as powerful and the gun the guards had but it was enough to take them out. The guards were now laying in the floor and they gun was out of they hand, both of them made the way down more steps when they came cross a office room which also had a telephone. Ace and Angel quickly entered the room and dialled number which was than picked up by Jake.
"Hey, it’s me I found Angel and we are in the building opposite to the Halifax bank in Liverpool Street. Could you get Mr.William for me and inform him" Ace's voice was shaking but he remember seeing the bank when they made they way down the stairs.
"What were you thinking when you ran away from the hospital last night?" Jake shouted cross the phone.
Ace had no time to answer to his questions he had to come to help her "I don’t have time for this, just hurry up" he replied as he put the phone down and hurried toward the door when 2 more ordinary guards just like the one who was guarding the corridors enter the room there were carrying the same gun Ace had and this time he knew he had no advantage and no where to hide, he tried to pull the trigger on his gun but his gun was empty he must of wasted all his bullet on the other guards when he start shooting like crazy. What is he going to do now, he can't just give up after coming all this way suddenly he had another crazy idea just to run through the guard they weren't standing far from him but he knew it not going to work than he saw a chair and he suddenly picked it up and threw it at them and the guard start shooting but the bullet missed Ace and Angel some of them barely missed them by inches. And the chair hit one of the guard and knocked him backward and they both pushed past other guard pushed past the other guard. They couldn't take anymore risk of going down the stairs, they had no weapon to defend them self so Ace looked outside the window they are only few meters above the ground and on the bottom of the ground there were mountain of sand pilled up. They had no choice accept to jump and hope for safe landing they could already hear more footstep coming from both side. Ace grabbed hold on Angel hand and jumped and luckily they landed on the soft sand and rolled down to the ground safely. The guards who came there looked out of the window to see them but unable to take a shot at them in case it grabs other people attention. It was near evening people are walking cross the street doing shopping going to the bank etc. Ace was hurt even more he could hardly move and Angel helped him up to move and cross the road where they sat on the corner waiting for the SIS to come and pick them up it must of been 7 minutes since he contacted Jake. A black car pulled up around the corner and Jake and Spike got off and saw them sitting they Ace was holding his stomach and Angel was looking around for them worried. They both hurried toward them and helped Ace into the car and they got in after him. Ace was nearly passing out. They hurried to the same hospital and Ace was taken away to get treatments. He didn't really want to be back in this place, he was just here less than 24hrs ago but he had no choice accept to be here. He lost too much blood. He was lying in different room now the windows were closed the curtain was opened so the light can come through the same young nurse least Ace think she is came with to the room as she walked in Ace looked at her feeling little guilty for running away like that, he probably put her self in trouble but she seems to be smiling as she gave him a injection for him to sleep because the tablets didn't seem to work last time.
Ace looked at her and whispered, "I am sorry for what happened this morning, it won't happen again" he gave her innocent smile.
She smiled "Don't worry just sleep and get your energy back and I am sure you wont try to run away again" she gave him a little nod and made sure he can't open the window this time. Ace has fallen a sleep even before she left the room. The injection should of done its job, he was covered up and laid there without moving and Elisa came and checked up on him more than last time all those time he was still laying there fast asleep.
