Depressing ... warning may increase likelyness to commit suicide in young adults or really anyone sad ... jk but srsly ... its sad.
A bitter-sweet taste in my mouth appears when I see newborn babies. Why you might ask? It's simply because these magnificent babies are so innocent, their minds not yet tainted with the toxin of prejudice, stereotyping, discrimination, segregation and hate. But, bitter because society will taint their minds. And at an early age too. It sickens me how we act. I live in the upper middle class, in a relitively snooty place, and it makes me so angry how some people can just treat others like s**t because of their status. If my family takes a trip downtown to the poorer community, I give the homeless people on the streets at least a smile. Some of my fellow students are brainwashed into thinking they are better than everyone else because of one thing, whether its money, materialistic items, race, grades, parents jobs, or even hair. I nearly throw up when I hear them say things to others, mean things, because they are egotistic b***hes that live in lala land where daddy will buy them everything and they are "popular" because they are snooty and stuck up when in reality everyone they pick on is one less potential friend, one less person that makes them "popular" the burned people turn on them and they all form friends with others that got burned until they realize the true meaning of popular isnt about money, but persona and number of good friends you have.I smile at every worker or just random stranger I pass, hoping to make their day just a BIT better. I have days where a smile would change my mind, but no one smiles at me. It burns my hopes and makes my bad day just a bit worse then before. Everyone deserves at least a smile. At least one day. Because smiles give hope.
