For Mizu
Think Blue
Not red
Not yellow
Not orange
Think Blue
Blue
That amazing color that sits
at the top of the color wheel
Half the winning formula
for green and purple
Green
The color of life
Purple
The color of royalty
And they'd be nothing without Blue
The world looks so different
through Blue tinted glasses
So different
So interesting
So beautiful
The Blues
Lifes sorrow rolled up with some jazz
Blue Grass
Lifes joys played by backhome yokels
Blue
The color of the infinite sky
Blue
The color of the worlds oceans
Blue
A baby's eyes...
All that is true in life
is Blue
And all that is true in Blue
is life
So when all of heaven's in a rage
Because of a silly redbreast in a cage
Just remember to

I never really got mizu-chan's Think Blue motto.. I'm more of an optimist, really.
The poem isn't pessimistic. It's actually pretty optimistic, as is mizu's "Think Blue" motto and my sisters answer to everything being blue, and her frequent random comment of "everything is blue". Blue is often seen as the melancholy color, sad and alone. But the poem is outlining how blue is in everything, and how there is nothing worth while without blue. I guess, if we want to get all symbolic, it can be seen as saying that without things that make you sad you can never truly be happy, that sadness is what life is, but with that sadness is the joy.
