I'm trying, really I am. But time sucks that way; stuff gets in the way and so this didn't get done as I intended. But here it is now.
So I finished this one way back at the end of July. It's a collection of short stories, all of them dealing with cats. In some of them cats are the main character, and in some the cat itself is not the character we follow, but in all of them the cat plays a major role. They're all very good stories and are not all fantasy by any means. The book has it's share of science fiction and horror stories as well, and a few that I wouldn't put in any particular category. The breif description before each story of the authors and their story are nice to have and I can't claim that I didn't like any of the stories. While there are a couple of authors I recognize from elsewhere, the rest I've never heard of before, although I would definetly go for books by them in the future (if I remember the names at the time. I tend to forget such things).
These guys picked a good set of stories. Whether you like cats or not, it's really good. For anyone who tends to aviod certain genres, don't in this book. It's a great set, and you don't have to like a genre to like a story of that genre.
If I don't get the next reveiw-ish thing up this weekend, I will have made my life suck. Same goes for a second one; this weekend or I've screwed up. (Or been really busy, which will mess stuff up, too.)
